Murals

If you are looking for high-quality murals, you have come to the right place. The Contaminator's murals unlike traditional spray paint are drawn on and scrubbed with a tool using professional oil sticks.

Even if the time to create (depending on the surface, size, and subject matter) is quadrupled or more compared to spray paint, the pigment quality and longevity of oil sticks are in no comparison. The application can be time-consuming but her first mural in Toledo has been through snow and rain for 4 years and is in perfect condition.

The wall must be cleaned and if a background is wanted it will be done with exterior paint and rollers (oil stick in most cases will take much too long and be much more expensive.) Drawing will be sketched then oil stick applied. 2 weeks must go by then the artist or business owner must spray the finished mural with an exterior varnish to set. If it is a rainy environment, a tarp must be applied until two weeks have finished.

Unfortunately, after a test on a temporary mural in Hollywood, I found the neon colors I am known for do not take well in direct sunlight. It will fade within two weeks (in LA at least) or so. I suggest neon colors to be used only for inside murals.

Music and dancing will be had to help aid the completion of the mural. Headphones will be brought just in case.
